Orville Clay Hubbard

Orville Clay Hubbard started working in the Balkan mines in 1936, age 16.
Orville Hubbard and Pauline Catron married in 1936 when they were both 16 years old.
Orville, Pauline and their 3 children Wanda Mae, Janice and Toby Wayne Hubbard
moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1940 where Orville worked for 1.5 years, then, they
returned to Kentucky. Orville and Pauline Hubbard divorced in Januray 1944.
Orville Hubbard re-married in 1944 to Ora Howard and they had one daughter,
Alice Faye Hubbard. Orville worked in the Balkan mine from the mid to late
1940's.
Orville Hubbard and family moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1952 where he worked
for Excello's for several years then he became a long haul truck driver.
Orville Hubbard retired in 1972 and moved to Claremore, OK., where
he died on July 28, 2006, at the age of 80 years and 38 days.
