EDWARDS, Roy J., age 90 of Dayton, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013. Born on December 21, 1922 in Knox County, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, John and Louisa Edwards as well as his sisters and brothers, Edith Wilson, Irene Green, Mary Mason, George Edwards, Sam Edwards and Herman Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Dovie Edwards; his daughter, Pamela Edwards and his grandchildren, Ross D'Autremont (Laura) and Elise D' Autremont. Roy was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 28 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor David Starry officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Roy's memory.
