January 18. 1935 - April 7, 2013

William Arthur Childers, 78 of Middlesboro, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his home.

He was born January 18, 1935 at Balkan, KY, the son of the late Charles Arthur and Ruby Cox Childers.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, a Master Mason, a Shriner and was also a Kentucky Colonel. He retired from General Motors after 35 years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

2 Daughters: Shelia Ann Daniels and Sharon Gail Nunn

4 Sisters: JoAnne (Al) Meek, Sandra Kaye (George) Helton, Wanda Faye (Tony) Smith, Sharon (Gabriel) Collett

6 Grandchildren: Arvey Lee Daniels, Chris Daniels, Matthew Daniels, Charles Edward Gage, Travis Bradford Gage and Alisha Marie Gage.

Special friends: Larry, Cari and Eddie

12 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
